Local Experiences
Our Mission Statement
Our readers are people who understand travel not as consumption, but as an encounter. They are not looking for standardized package deals, but for individual routes, genuine encounters with locals, and places that tell stories. Whether a young couple, a family with children, or an experienced solo traveler – we provide inspiration that invites personal exploration.
“Thanks to your tips, I found a hidden beer garden in Munich that no travel guide mentions. That's exactly what I love.”
Every article is based on our own research and on-site visits. We test routes, visit markets, talk to hosts, and also note the downsides: steep climbs, long waits, or overcrowded viewpoints. Our recommendations are not advertising copy, but verified tips that save you time and disappointment.
“The description of the hike was so detailed that we never got lost – and the restaurant tips were worth their weight in gold.”
We avoid vague phrases like “unique experience” or “unforgettable moments.” Instead, we provide concrete facts: precise route descriptions, opening hours, price ranges, travel options, and alternatives for bad weather. Our goal is that after reading an article, you know exactly whether the offer suits you – or not.
“Finally a magazine that doesn't sugarcoat things. The honest criticism of the overcrowded cable car saved my day.”
From a spontaneous idea at the breakfast table to a platform that connects people with the most beautiful experiences in Randolph and the surrounding area.
More about usAfter a long hiking weekend in the Salzkammergut, we lacked a central hub for local events and insider tips. This gap led to the first draft of enjoyrandolph.com – a digital magazine for genuine experiences off the beaten tourist path.
Despite the pandemic, we launched a small blog about hidden hiking trails and regional farm shops. The response was overwhelming: within six months, we reached over 5,000 regular readers. This showed us how great the need for authentic, local content is.
With Emilia Kreuzer as editor and Matthias Weidinger as the technical lead, we expanded our offerings. We began regularly publishing event calendars, restaurant reviews, and themed features. The number of monthly visitors rose to over 25,000.
Today, enjoyrandolph.com is a staple for anyone wanting to actively experience Randolph and the region. Our archive includes more than 300 articles, and we collaborate with over 40 local partners – from small farm shops to major event organizers. Our goal remains: real stories, real experiences, real people.
Every milestone is a step closer to our vision: making local experiences accessible to everyone.
